Returns and damage

We do not accept change-of-mind returns

Every piece is made after you order it. Nothing is pulled from a shelf, so there is no shelf for it to go back to — a returned print cannot be resold, and pricing the catalog as though it could would mean charging everyone for the ones that come back.

So please buy deliberately. Read the format guide, look at the artwork at size, and ask us anything before you order rather than after. We would much rather answer a question than take money for something you are unsure about.

If it arrives damaged, that is different

Photograph the packaging and the piece and email both. We will put it right — a replacement or a refund, whichever makes more sense for what happened.

There is no form to fill in and no argument to have. Transit damage is a cost of doing this, not something to push onto the person who bought it.

If we got it wrong

Wrong piece, wrong format, a defect we should have caught before it was packed — same thing. Tell us and we fix it at our expense.

Every piece is checked by eye under angled light before it is packed, and anything that fails is scrapped rather than shipped. Some still get through, and when they do it is our problem.

Custom and commissioned work

Made for one person and impossible to resell, so it is not returnable under any circumstances short of us making a mistake.

This is exactly why nothing goes into production until you have seen and approved what you are getting. If you are not sure, say so at that stage — there is no cost and no obligation until you approve it.

Your rights

Nothing here removes a right you have under law, and the protections offered by your card issuer or PayPal apply regardless of what this page says.
